I meant to keep this update regularly. But as we all know life happens and I forgot about it. I am going to try and add alot more to this now that things have calmed down a bit.

Rebecca is almost 9 months now and doing better. She is a happy little girl except when eating. Her CT came back completely normal. We were looking for crainosynosis. Craniosynosis is when the sutures of the skull fuse together early causing the head to stop growing. Things that lead to this was very slow head growth and prominate ridges in her head. We are wait on some blood test to come back to see if anything might be genetic. We are thinking her head is just small. The other issue is feeding. She is still fussy during feeds (arching, whining, pushing the bottle away when she is still hungry). These are quite fustrating for the both of us. Occupational Therapy is going well. She has started rolling over in the past month. YAY. She will play with toys occasionally but not like you would expect a 9 month old to play. We are working on getting her to sit unassisted, she very much doesn't like it. She pushes right back when you sit her up.

Richard is OMG a drama king. He has got such a little additude. But he is good for a 3 year old, especially at doctors visits. He likes electronics like Daddy. The ipod touch (Will won it from work) helps with keeping him entertained at appointments. His favorite activities are going to the park with the moms group I am a part of and crafts. He loves to paint. Richard just learned how to count to 10. He can do it sub-conciously, if you ask him outright to do it he skips around.

We have been to the beach since it started warming up. Theresa and her boyfriend Jordan joined us.

Yay for Richard!

Richard has potty trained himself. He is dry all day long and at night. Yay for such a big boy.

Rebecca's two week weight check was positive she now weighs 15 lbs and went from the 43 percentile to the 55 percentile. Dr. Bhumi was happy with that. She also had her first Occupational Therapy session. That went well Amanda (the OT) will see her every friday for a while and work with her to start playing with her hands more. Amanda said her hand eye cordination was that of a newborn and to make sure she had an eye doctor appt. The end two weeks of this month I have appointments with neurology, hemotology, audiology, and a 6 month check, plus a MRI and a hearing test.

Hoping everyone had Merry Christmas and that your New Year is Happy and Healthy!!!
